Main Club Fitness Classes We Offer
Our friendly instructors at West Coast Fitness are committed to making everyone feel welcome and engaged in our classes. We provide an array of options to help you find the ones that work best for you and your goals, including:
Full On HIIT
HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. This style of cardio is designed to get your heart rate up by performing high-intensity exercises in short bursts, followed by brief periods of rest. HIIT exercises are great at burning fat, and, given their intensity, allow gymgoers to get an effective workout in a shorter time.
Spinning
Spin classes are meant to simulate outdoor cycling but are done in a studio setting and performed on a stationary bike. They are often accompanied by music to help participants get more engaged. The instructor will help set the pace and keep you motivated to get a cardio workout while also increasing lower-body strength.
Strength Training
Functional strength training is great for people of all ages. It helps work your muscles, improve endurance, and promote overall fitness. These 30-minute classes involve using resistance to improve muscle strength and mass. The instructors will help ensure you get the proper form.
Circuit Strength
If you’re looking to get a full-body workout in an hour, consider one of our Circuit Strength classes. These sessions let you work on your glutes, abs, and more, building strength and toning your muscles.
Zumba
For those looking to dance while getting a great workout, Zumba is for you. Zumba classes offer aerobic exercise through Latin dance moves. These classes let you use your energy in a fun, social environment and help you work on strength, coordination, balance, and agility in the process.
Cardio Dance
If you want to move your body to the beat while learning an array of fun dance moves, consider signing up for one of our Cardio Dance classes. These exciting sessions will have participants doing moves from Zumba, Werk, U-Jam, and more.
Yoga
For something a little more calming and less intense, consider attending one of our yoga classes. Yoga involves movements, breathing, and meditation to help improve flexibility, strength, focus, and mental well-being.
Gentle Yoga
If you’re new to yoga, try out our gentle yoga class, which is ideal for all levels. Classes focus on breath, mindful movement, and holding poses for longer periods to boost relaxation and reduce stress.
Boxing
You don’t have to be taking on an opponent to get cardio and strength training in the form of boxing. Our boxing classes help you raise your heart rate while learning moves, working on coordination, and even boosting your confidence.
Butts & Gutts
These classes are designed to target the core and glutes but still provide an aerobic workout. You’ll build muscle, gain strength, and shape your body in a fun atmosphere.
Silver & Fit
Older individuals who want to stay healthy can check out these fitness classes, which feature moves that can be performed standing or using a chair. Their focus is on stability, strength, and balance.
Grace & Strength
This class is specifically designed to focus on improving your joint flexibility. It is not a high-intensity workout, but it’s a great way to get moving.
Mobility Training
This 30-minute class helps participants improve their muscle function and mobility to make everyday living more comfortable. It’s ideal for all ages and levels of fitness.
Tai Chi
This form of martial arts originated in China and involves gentle movements. The exercises you’ll perform during these classes are designed to improve the health of both the mind and the body.
Beginner Tai Chi
Those new to Tai Chi will appreciate our beginner classes. They go at a slower pace with more guidance to help you get started and become familiar with the moves.
