The Movement Studio is the place in North Portland for experiencing what a heated environment can bring to your fitness. We offer hot yoga and hot barre.

The temperature is set just right, classes are led by experienced instructors, and the benefits are numerous.

What to Bring to a Hot Class

Your own yoga mat.The heated environment is great, but it also produces much more sweat that a standard yoga class. We have a variety of mats for sale if you don't have one.

Water. It is best to have more than you think you need

A towel. Your mat may get slippery as the class progresses. A towel over your mat helps with grip and excess moisture. A hand towel is also a good idea for keeping sweat out of your eyes.

We think a good yoga practice involves experiencing new teachers and new styles.

For our weekend classes in the Main Gym, we rotate through 2 of our instructors. The calendar to the left shows who is teaching which weekend.
