Originally from Canada, I ended up in Oregon by way of University of Oregon and a career in archaeology. I never considered myself athletic, coordinated, or physically strong; Gyms were an intimidating place to be and while my career required me to be fit, I didn't consider strength training to be "for me". After starting and falling in love with roller derby, I began strength training to improve my game and prevent injuries. Building strength and athleticism was a life changing but tough journey. I decided to become a personal trainer in order to help others overcome their feelings of intimidation to build strong capable bodies. 


I believe that moving with intention and care is the foundation of an active and healthy life. I enjoy working with people to help them overcome their limitations and exceed their goals. Fitness and strength training are for everyone and I strive to create a welcoming environment where we can work together to build a strong fitness foundation. Whether you are a fitness novice or are a regular in the gym, I can help you get stronger, build confidence, and fully enjoy your active life.
