ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Fitness Instructor
B.S., Exercise Science
Exercise & sports have been a big part of my life. From playing multiple sports such as football, baseball & lacrosse to hitting the weight room to reach fitness goals I set for myself, being physically active is and has been a staple in my everyday life. Wanting to continue my passion for sports & exercise, I attended Pacific Lutheran University and received my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science while also receiving a Music minor. Post-undergrad, I became a Personal Trainer and have been doing so since 2016. With the experience and education I have gathered in this field, I have been able to help clients reach their own fitness goals from assisting athletes to help their game to the general population wanting to build strength, lose weight, or create healthier habits.
Over the years of education and training, I have come up with a training philosophy that combines elements from mobility, corrective & functional exercises to prevent injury & fix imbalances in the body, aid the process of building muscle correctly/efficiently and make movements in everyday life pain-free. In order for our bodies to be more bio-mechanically efficient, it is imperative to make sure that our movements are precise and executed with intention. I stress with all my clients that when we are training together, I will make sure that we are closely monitoring movements rather than “ego lifting” to ensure that we are successful in reaching our set goals. I enjoy spreading correct information and debunking myths when it comes to exercise while also making sure that we are having a great time in our fitness journey.
