I have been passionate for health and fitness throughout my life. I was luckyenough to transfer my passion into a career teaching Physical Education and Health. Coaching and teaching is part of my identity, leading me to work primarily in early education. As an educator and fitness enthusiast, I strive to create positive experiences with movement anytime I work with someone- student or client. I believe we all have our own strength, wisdom, and capacity to heal our bodies. My goal is to help you see that within yourself and to enhance your overall well-being.
My hope is to work on an individualized plan to lead you on a path of wellness and confidence.
I have come to appreciate the importance of mobility through my own experiences over the last few years. During my first year teaching I was experiencing a lot of pain during work and exercise. It took me a while to figure out that this had developed over time with unhealthy movement patterns which created muscle imbalances. After much research and intentional, correctional exercises I am now able to exercise pain free. Because of my personal experience I have come to value mobility and the power it has to heal injuries, limit risk of injury and enhance strength building.
I have extensive experience in developing plans and programs for movement that allow you to reach your fitness goals. I am looking forward to working together.
